Gtube operation with fondoplication
Arriving at 7am, after an 11hr wait not forgetting the 5 day delay on account of being bumped, Reuben finally went in for his operations at 6pm.
Miraculously, without the need for open surgery, 3 hrs later he emerged with his brand new Gtube and his stomach stappled to prevent reflux through laparascopic surgery. He's now being fed through a tube in his stomach and has a neat little button into which his feeds are continuously dripped.
Here's our brave boy recovering. The discrete Gtube can be seen on the left side of his body and the little marks are where the key hole surgeons made the incisions, but they'll fade away soon.
