My nephew learned to walk with a ride on toy that converts to a push toy. He would pull himself up on the handle and then he would push it around for hours at a time. It is very good for getting them to stand and use their feet. My nephew used to walk on his tip toes and when he finally walked on his own, he walked normally. I hope that this helps you out and is not to late. The best thing that I have seen is a ride on train that has a wooden handle for better stability. I don't know if Toys-r-us has it, but I will check and see.
I don't think there is anything more "boy" than cammoflauge! I always swore I would never dress my child in it, but Evan looks so darn cute in it he has at least one pair of cammo pants for whatever current size he's in. Reuben is no exception--too cute!
