In London

In London for a few days. Call or text us on 07943 594672.

Baptism sadly not going ahead this Sunday. Been an utterly exhausting week with the boys up til 4am but gradually moving to 12am. Reuben refusing to sleep in his crib and I watched as he stood falling asleep, arms and chin over the crib until his legs gave way which would wake him up and the cycle would start all over again. He's now sleeping on the floor with me. Done very little beyond seeing immediate family but that's been lovely after such a long time. Sitting in Mum and Dad's garden having al fresco dinner with my sister Geraldine and her husband Mark were the highlights. Short walk through Greenwich Park today and tomorrow (Tuesday), Tate Modern and the South Bank with a view to seeing my brother Peter and sister Geraldine for lunch with the boys.

Reuben's language is growing all the time: just incredible. I've heard Mama repeatedly (1000 times a day), Nana (my mum), meow, up and yellow in context. Having much more time for signing with Reuben, singing songs and reading books which I'm enjoying.

Hope the boys get used to the new time zone soon and start sleeping at normal times! Where are you staying in London? Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip and that you get to catch up with everyone you want to see. Is it too soon for decisions about what'll happen next... or have they already been made? P x

Pat yourself on the back mommy, that's due to you and your dedication to your boys
