Swim with Heart

Teacher Mikey, owner of Swim with Heart develops such special relationships with her little sharks, building trust and mutual respect...

with a focus on personal connection and a specialism of "mentoring children with special needs"

sprinkling that little piece of magic in their lives...

empowering children with the confidence to let go...

inspiring children to love the water...

even though the Olympics made Callum feel
"I don't like that swimming. I can't breathe under water"...

to dunk...

to rise up through the waters in a ring of sparkling light...

learning how to blow bubbles under water...

to jump...

to take different strokes...

and feel the water through their fingers...

to learn some of life's greatest skills...

and to finish with a smile...

to share their achievements with siblings...

focusing on having fun..

to love.

"Our positive and individualized approach works for everyone, from complete beginners to confident and competitive swimmers, and our instructors specialize in mentoring swimmers with special needs. We teach life skills inside the pool that cultivate physical and inner strength. Our innovative instructors work with each swimmer to establish trust and mutual respect, develop courage, learn water safety, and advance swimming skills. Swim with Heart swimmers strive for their best in the pool—and we encourage them as they apply this to all areas of their life."

I love that you found such a great instructor for your boys! If I wasn't teaching school, I think I would love to teach swimming to children with special needs. Water is magical! And of course your pictures are beautiful!

And such dedicated work. I love the (warm ;-)) water too and Mikey and her team spend 8 hours in the water giving instruction with great patience and care.
