Santa Monica haircut photographer - They sure are cute!

On the spur of the moment on our drive back home from school, I felt the draw of Floyds 99 Barber Shop in Venice, that smooth location with the coolest trendies donning equally cool haircuts on walk ins. The boys loved it and Callum was almost asleep in minutes as she gently combed through his hair and snipped away the strays whilst moulding into black leather barber chairs. The walls are graffiti art interspersed with rock legends.

Annenberg Community Beach House - Santa Monica Family Photographer

Summer officially arrived at the Annenberg Community Beach House, our place of solace in SoCal over Memorial Day Weekend.

And we just had to be there. There's always a warm welcome from the staff who see the children return each year for the outdoor activities, running through the water sprinklers and the fabulous pool. And for busy mums like me, I get to swim in the perfectly warm historic pool and dream a little.

Thanks again for a great opening weekend and here's a perfect summer ahead.

An utterly perfect morning, like the ones we used to have together before school, awaiting the sun to break through the marine layer haze, a leisurely lunch by the ocean, our feet in the sand, riding your glider bike, watching you, breathing in the salty air, running in the waves, laughing with you, love and kisses. Bliss.
