In loving memory of Lucas Fillmore Weindorf

Today is the first anniversary of when Lucas lost his bravely fought battle and entered into Heaven. Being born so soon after, we gave Callum the honourary name of Lucas, in memory of our sweet friend and Angel in CHARGE. Lucas was born on May 10 2007, just days after Reuben, and was ever an inspiration to us with the remarkable steps he'd take in his life.

Please pray for this family at this time, for MK, Blake and Pierce as they mourn the loss of their dear, sweet, brave little blue eyed boy and I know they will be comforted by your visit to their blog.

Moriah has a bed at Stanford

Reuben has not quite been himself the last few days, but flu has been ruled and whilst doing the round of tests for Reuben, they bump into Victoria who had the great news that Moriah has a bed at Stanford, which as Victoria says on their blog, is the latest step to getting Moriah back to baseline after their 11 month admission.

Isn't their home beautifully Frank Lloyd Wright? I felt enormously challenged by the light at first, soft interior and a thunderous sky outside, but I think that's what makes this shoot specially different for me and creates a mood I love

Yesterday, had a wonderful time photographing our friends in CHARGE, the Swanns. (Managed to get it down to 500 Kristi. Is that OK? LOL). And this is a very belated birthday present to Gracie (6) and Preston (2). To one of the most amazing families I've ever met and four of the most amazing individuals I could ever hope to meet.
