Soulful eyes that speak volumes, but still luminous, oxygen entrails above his head, never more beautiful. Hands running through the softie bunny from the Flock of Swanns that he's had since he was last in intensive care, 2.5 years ago. How many finger movements have run through its silky side? Here after another harrowing intensive, percussive, breathing treatment and deep suctioning. Xrays are improving. No indication that this will stall the sleep study for decannulation.

Didn't go home last night in the end. Forgot my key by the time I drove back to the house this morning. Fast asleep in the driveway in the car til Jennifer came to the rescue :-)  Callum was in Jennifer's car chatting up baby Georgie but he didn't see me. Slept in my bed. Got up, wrote this and now off to see my Callum. This was my time for me.

Thank you everyone for helping in all your special ways, love Catherine

PS sorry about the repetition on the music. Beautiful piece, but will update one of these days.

Reuben Jack... sweet boy... I don't mean to be stern with you when you're not feeling well at all, but it's time to get better now.
You have sufficiently scared the daylights out of your parents, your brother misses you so very much and all of the blogger and CHARGE families are worried about you.

We love you, precious little man, and are sending healing thoughts, prayers and love to you and your family.

I can see so much of you in his face, especially when you're very tired! God Bless you Reuben, may you continue to get better and get home sometime this week.

Lots of love,
