What a wonderful world

Winter is calming down, the first buds are starting to appear, the birds are singing. Things happen a little differently in Southern California because all this is happening at the same time as the leaves are falling from the trees. What little time the trees get to rest here in LA!

Callum is admiring the trees and signs "tree" in deference to them. How my boy loves trees. And how he loves his new found independence now that he can walk.

The garden, the World to him today, was his oyster. How he loves playing with his big brother Reuben. Together the boys see-sawed, played on the castle, ran through the grass, chewed on leafs, tickled each other, were friends, well, until Reuben dived on Callum and Callum in defence tried to take Reuben's glasses, hearing aid and speech valve. Ah, brother love!

PPS Sorry I've been away for so long from all your beautiful blogs and inspiring words and pictures. I have a lot of catching up to do.

Just look at the picture of Reuben with his tongue out, enjoying every minute. Love it!
